The Belmont University Softball team won 3-1 against Saint Louis in the opening game of its final home weekend at E.S. Rose Park, according to a May 1 announcement.

This victory is significant as it keeps Belmont’s strong season record intact and sets the tone for the remainder of their home series. The game was closely contested until late, with both teams held scoreless through five innings.

Belmont added another run with an RBI single to center field, making it 3-1. The Bruins’ pitcher delivered a complete game performance, allowing just one run on two hits while striking out thirteen batters—her twenty-fifth win this season.
