Belmont University women’s soccer head coach Kelsey Cameron announced the program’s fall schedule on May 20. The upcoming season will see the Bruins compete against several Top 100 programs and four teams that reached the NCAA Tournament in 2025.

The new schedule is significant as Belmont aims to build on its six-match unbeaten streak from last fall, which was its longest since 2022. The team will return five players who have received All-Missouri Valley Conference recognition during their careers.

“We are excited about this year’s schedule and the opportunities it presents,” Cameron said. “We’ve added new in-region opponents we haven’t faced in recent years, along with the chance to compete on the road against traditional national powers. These trips will provide anticipation and valuable experience for our team.”

The Bruins’ preseason includes exhibition matches against Alabama A&M and North Alabama before opening regular season play on August 12 at Tennessee Tech, a team that won the Ohio Valley Conference championship last season and is set to join the Southern Conference in 2026. Belmont previously defeated Tennessee Tech, 3-1, in their last meeting in 2024.

After facing defending SoCon tournament champion Samford, Belmont will host Chattanooga for its home opener at E.S. Rose Park on August 20. The non-conference slate features away games at nationally ranked Louisville of the Atlantic Coast Conference on August 23 and a visit to Ole Miss on September 6.

Missouri Valley Conference play begins September 20 when Belmont hosts defending MVC champion UIC. Other key dates include an October 3 match with Southern Illinois, an October 10 game versus Evansville, and a regular season home finale against Valparaiso on October 24.

“Our goal in building this schedule was to challenge and stretch our group as we prepare for MVC play,” Cameron said. “This slate offers a variety of playing styles and competitive environments that will help us grow, learn, and be fully prepared when conference play begins.”

The Missouri Valley Conference Tournament is scheduled for November 8-15 at host sites across the league.
