Brent Taylor, a political candidate for Tennessee’s 9th Congressional District, used his Twitter account on May 16 and 17, 2026, to announce key endorsements and campaign activities. Taylor highlighted support from prominent local conservatives and detailed recent outreach efforts in Fayette County.

On May 16, Taylor announced an endorsement from Bryan Terry: “ENDORSEMENT ALERT @BryanTerry4TN is a principled conservative voice in the General Assembly who consistently stands firm alongside President @realDonaldTrump. I’m humbled to have him on Team Taylor for TN-09!”

Later that day, he shared another endorsement: “ENDORSEMENT ALERT Former State Rep. @AndyHolt4TN is officially on Team Taylor for TN-09! Andy isn’t just a conservative leader for the people of Tennessee, he’s a devoted husband and father who lives by faith, freedom, and family. We’re lucky to have him in this fight with us”

On May 17, Taylor described participating in a community event: “I had a great time today at the Fayette County Republican Women’s High Tea! So many were excited about the new congressional districts in Tennessee to support President Trump’s America First Agenda. There is no doubt Fayette County is Taylor Territory with endorsements from”

The referenced endorsements come as Tennessee recently redrew its congressional district boundaries following population changes identified by the U.S. Census Bureau. The process of redistricting has led to shifts in political landscapes across the state, affecting both incumbents and challengers as they seek support within their newly defined constituencies.
