On May 17, 2026, Taylor posted about his participation in a memorial service for law enforcement officers. He wrote, “Yesterday I had the honor of speaking at a Tennessee Law Enforcement Memorial Service in Selmer in McNairy County. In my remarks, I spoke about the critical importance of electing leaders who truly support our law enforcement officers — not just with words, but with policies”.

Two days later, on May 19, 2026, Taylor described attending an event with local residents. He stated, “It was great to meet and speak with a large group of Lawrence County constituents at an event, hosted by Senators Marsha Blackburn and Bill Hagerty. Team Taylor is growing daily, and I look forward to fighting and WINNING for Lawrence County to Take Tennessee to the Top under”.

Also on May 19, Taylor acknowledged another political figure in a separate tweet: “My friend @timburchett showing me the dadgum ropes.”
