Lipscomb University’s Casey Yu was named the ASUN Women’s Golfer of the Week, according to an April 9 announcement from the league. Yu led the Bisons at the 22nd “Mo”Morial tournament, finishing in 12th place overall.

This recognition highlights Yu’s performance among a competitive field. She finished ahead of nine golfers ranked in the national top-150, demonstrating her skill and consistency throughout the event.

Yu recorded scores of 76 and 77 during her first two rounds and shot an even-par 72 in Wednesday’s final round. Over three rounds, she posted seven birdies and made par on 34 holes.

The Lipscomb women’s golf team is scheduled to compete next at the ASUN Championships from April 17 to April 19 at Dothan Country Club in Dothan, Alabama.

The team’s upcoming appearance at the conference championship will provide another opportunity for Yu and her teammates to build on their recent performances.
