On Saturday, Nov. 29, the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays, featuring former Montgomery Bell Academy standout Browning Trainer, defeated the Springfield Pride 34-14 in the NCAA Division III Football Championship.

The contest was held at Homewood Field at noon and marked the first tournament meeting between the Johns Hopkins Blue Jays and the Springfield Pride.

Johns Hopkins will host their next game on Saturday, Dec. 6, at 12 p.m. at Homewood Field.
