Jeremy Faison, a Tennessee state representative, posted a series of statements on his Twitter account in January 2026, touching on political, social, and lighthearted topics.
On January 18, 2026, Faison criticized the political left’s approach to the Covid-19 pandemic. He wrote: “The whole world is fully aware of how foolish and wrong the left was when it came to dealing with Covid. Gosh I’m grateful to live in a state where our people are not dumb enough to elect this. ‘As a dog returns to its vomit..’ #BYH VA”.
The following day, January 19, Faison reflected on Martin Luther King Jr. Day and the progress made since King’s era. He stated: “What an amazingly awesome truth to celebrate on Martin Luther Kind Day. His “mountaintop,” his “dream,” and his message are a reality in the country where he loved. No one in this country is held back from achieving whatever their heart desires. Children of all races can play”.
On January 20, Faison shared a joke unrelated to politics or social issues: “Why did the toilet bowl brush refuse to ride the elevator alone? Because every time the doors opened, it got bristled when people asked, “Going up… or just here to scrub the shaft again?””.
Faison has served as a Republican member of the Tennessee House of Representatives since 2010 and is known for expressing strong opinions on public health policies and social issues.
