Ken Yager, a Tennessee state senator, recently expressed his positions on several issues through a series of posts on X (formerly Twitter).

On May 21, 2026, Yager stated his stance regarding U.S.-China relations and support for fellow Senator Marsha Blackburn: “You can count on my support in the @tnsenate , Marsha. The authoritarian atheist regime that runs China is our sworn enemy.”

In a post dated May 22, 2026, Yager voiced his backing for local electric cooperatives and their role in Tennessee’s development: “Electric cooperatives have provided power to rural Tenn for almost a century transforming the region in to an economic powerhouse. Management always accessible to ratepayers, too, and have my full support. @TNELECTRIC”

Yager also commended local leaders in another post from May 23, 2026: “Mayors Cresswell and Frank are focused visionaries who are committed to make our counties an even better place to live and raise a family. Their leadership is a critical piece of the nuclear renaissance – we are blessed by their leadership @ETEC_tn”

Yager has represented Tennessee’s Senate District 12 since 2008 and is known for supporting rural infrastructure projects as well as energy initiatives.
