The Lipscomb Bisons women’s softball team lost a close game to Belmont, 11–10, on April 15 in Nashville. The match featured strong offensive performances from both teams and saw the Bisons fight back several times before narrowly falling short.

The game is notable for its high-scoring nature and competitive spirit between the two teams. Multiple players contributed key hits throughout the contest, highlighting the depth of Lipscomb’s lineup.

Lipscomb started strong in the first inning with a five-run frame. Josephine Heuberger delivered a two-RBI single, followed by Elizabeth Martin’s three-run home run that gave the Bisons an early lead. Despite Belmont’s response, Lipscomb continued to apply pressure offensively in subsequent innings.

In the second inning, Mallory Ogle hit an RBI double while Heuberger added another RBI single. Kyla Jobe contributed with an RBI triple as well. By the third inning, Presley Rader drove in a run and Jobe drew a bases-loaded walk that briefly put Lipscomb ahead at 10–9.

Overall, Lipscomb recorded 12 hits during the game. Heuberger led with three RBIs while Martin and Jobe each had multiple RBIs as well. Brenna Sherman provided consistent offense from the top of the lineup with several hits during key moments of play.

Despite their efforts and resilience throughout all innings, Lipscomb was unable to secure victory but demonstrated determination and teamwork during one of their most complete offensive games this season.
