Lipscomb University’s softball team lost 5-0 to Coastal Carolina at the Clemson Tournament on Saturday. The game was close in the early innings, with Coastal Carolina holding a 1-0 lead through four innings. They extended their advantage by adding runs in the fourth and fifth innings.

Despite efforts from Lipscomb, including offensive contributions from Brenna Sherman, who went 2-for-3, and Presley Rader, who hit a double and finished 1-for-2, the Bisons were unable to score. Coastal Carolina maintained control throughout the later stages of the game and secured a shutout victory.
