Lipscomb Women’s Golf finished fifth at the ASUN Championship held at Dothan Country Club, according to an April 19 announcement. The team completed the tournament with a total score of 888, which is 24 over par.

The event marks the end of the season for Lipscomb, highlighting individual and team performances under challenging conditions. The team’s performance secured them a national ranking of 121 and included four top-three finishes during the year.

Christina Surcey and Casey Yu were Lipscomb’s top finishers, both tying for 12th place overall. Surcey shot rounds of 71, 76, and finished with a 74 in her final round despite gusty winds. She recorded four birdies alongside four bogeys and one double bogey on the last day. Yu was consistent throughout the championship, shooting even par in her first two rounds before finishing with a five-over-par 77 in her final round. Over three days, Yu totaled nine birdies and completed the tournament at five over par.

Ava Bankston tied for 18th place after posting scores of 73 in each of her first two rounds before closing with a final-round score of 78. Savannah Howell contributed to Lipscomb’s tally by tying for 23rd; she delivered her best round on Sunday with a one-over-par score of 73 after starting strong on her front nine holes.

Katya Tibbetts improved significantly during competition, finishing tied for 43rd after shooting her best round—a two-over-par score—on Sunday that included five birdies across eighteen holes.

The Bisons concluded their season with an overall record of seventy-five wins, fifty losses, and one tie.
