Man Arrested Following Wednesday Evening’s Shooting on 11th Avenue South

Specialized Investigations detectives arrested Antonio Eugene Robertson, 36, for Wednesday evening’s shooting on Deford Bailey Avenue and 11th Avenue South that left a man with serious injuries. The victim was found lying in the middle of the intersection with gunshot wounds following a verbal altercation with Robertson.

The victim was transported to Vanderbilt University Medical Center where he remains in critical condition.

Detectives located Robertson in the area of the shooting and took him into custody without incident.

He was charged with attempted homicide and being a felon in possession of a weapon.
