Monty Fritts, a Tennessee state representative, shared several messages on his social media account in early May 2026. His posts addressed topics ranging from government policy to expressions of gratitude toward local communities and religious organizations.
On May 6, 2026, Fritts thanked a local community for engaging with him on political issues: “Thank you Putnam County for hearing about Liberty & Less Govt again.” Later that day, he acknowledged a church congregation and its pastor: “Thank you FBC Lenoir City for great worship and Pastor Hunn for a great message on Genesis.”
The following morning, Fritts commented on healthcare policy concerning undocumented immigrants. On May 7, 2026, he wrote: “We should not pay for healthcare for individuals who are here illegally. We should render aid. It would be less than Christ-like to allow someone to die, but we shouldn’t be putting them on TennCare.”
Monty Fritts serves as a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives. TennCare is Tennessee’s Medicaid program that provides health coverage to eligible low-income residents in the state.
