Rep. Jason Zachary, a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, posted several statements on his Twitter account between May 11 and May 13, 2026, addressing local leadership and recent political developments involving state Democrats.

On May 11, Zachary commented on Mayor Glenn Jacobs’ final budget address: “Mayor @GlennJacobsTN’s final budget address was this morning @covhealthpark.
8 years of strong, principled, conservative leadership that has helped make Knox County the best place to live, work and raise a family.
Well done, my friend! Leaving it better than you found it.”

The following day, on May 12, he attributed responsibility for recent decisions to Democratic lawmakers by stating: “As detailed below, Democrats made this decision with their dangerous, foolish and reckless behavior.”

On May 13, Zachary addressed criticisms regarding race and committee removals in the Tennessee legislature: “Always trying to make it about race is a tired line.
TN is winning because of bold, conservative leadership that was on display last week.
Democrats were stripped of committees because their actions violated decorum, House rules, were dangerous and reckless.
Get better”
.

These comments from Rep. Zachary come in the context of ongoing debates within the Tennessee legislature over party conduct and disciplinary actions against Democratic members accused of violating procedural rules during legislative sessions.
