Rep. Jason Zachary, a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, posted several messages on his social media account in early January 2026, expressing support for local law enforcement and public officials.

On January 8, 2026, Zachary praised the Knoxville Police Department and its leadership, stating: “Well done and thank you @Knoxville_PD! Thank you also to Chief Noel for your leadership. It has made a huge impact on our community. Great news to start the day.”

The following day, he congratulated Chairman Tim Burchett with a message that read: “Congratulations Chairman @timburchett!! Well deserved. Big win for the taxpayer!” This message referenced Tim Burchett’s role as chairman and acknowledged what Zachary described as a positive outcome for taxpayers.

Later on January 9, Zachary commented on interactions with law enforcement officers. He wrote: “If you have an interaction with law enforcement (federal/state/local) and want to avoid an unpleasant experience, arrest or a terrible result, use common sense, be respectful and do as your asked. If you are blatantly breaking the law and/or belligerently disregarding an order,”

Jason Zachary represents District 14 in the Tennessee House of Representatives. His public statements often address issues related to law enforcement and community safety.
