Representative Mark White, a member of the Tennessee House of Representatives, recently used his social media platform to share messages marking significant religious and commemorative observances in early April 2026.

On April 3, 2026, White posted about Good Friday: “Good Friday reminds us that love conquered death and opened the way to eternal life. We honor this sacred truth with grateful hearts and faithful reflection.”

Two days later, on April 5, he recognized Gold Star Spouses Day by stating: “Gold Star Spouses Day acknowledges an extraordinary sacrifice. The loss of a beloved spouse in defense of our freedom. We remember them. We honor you.” Gold Star Spouses Day is observed annually on April 5 to recognize the surviving spouses of military service members who lost their lives while serving in the U.S. Armed Forces.

Later that same day, White shared another message reflecting on Easter: “The resurrection changed everything. On Easter, we celebrate the foundation of our faith and the hope that sustains us through all of life’s seasons.” Easter is one of Christianity’s most important holidays, commemorating the resurrection of Jesus Christ.

Representative Mark White has served in the Tennessee House since 2010 and represents District 83.
