Sen. Marsha Blackburn, who represents Tennessee in the U.S. Senate, recently addressed several national issues through her social media posts.
On February 19, 2026, Blackburn highlighted law enforcement efforts under former President Trump: “President Trump’s work to restore law and order in Washington D.C. and other American cities will be a hallmark of his presidency. The Make D.C. Safe and Beautiful Task Force has made more than 10,000 arrests, which is a milestone worth celebrating.”
The following day, on February 20, she raised concerns about media representation on technology platforms: “Last month, Apple News posted ZERO articles by right-leaning outlets and more than 400 by left-leaning outlets. I sent a letter to CEO Tim Cook demanding answers and all internal data about the distribution of articles on the platform over the last year.”
Later that same day, Blackburn questioned the influence of major technology companies: “Our nation is facing a watershed moment. Will we side with selfish moguls like Mark Zuckerberg, or will we side with the 86% of Americans who are demanding we stop Big Tech from preying on our kids? By now, the answer should be clear.”
Blackburn’s advocacy reflects her broader legislative priorities, including support for veterans’ care and online child protections as noted on her official website. She has also championed limited government, lower taxes, border security, affordable health care, and privacy-related issues during her tenure. Blackburn serves on multiple Senate committees such as Finance; Commerce, Science and Transportation; Veterans’ Affairs; and Judiciary—chairing subcommittees focused on consumer protection and technology policy.
As a senator representing all of Tennessee with offices across several cities in the state—including Memphis, Jackson, Nashville, Chattanooga, Knoxville, and Johnson City—Blackburn continues to address both national policy debates and local constituent needs.
