Sen. Marsha Blackburn, U.S. Senator representing Tennessee, posted a series of statements on her social media account on August 26, 2025, addressing topics ranging from crime rates in Washington D.C., immigration policy, and the rebranding of a well-known restaurant chain.

In a post published at midnight, Blackburn attributed a significant decrease in violent crime to former President Donald Trump’s policies. She wrote: “Violent crime dropped by 41% in D.C. because of President Trump’s actions. Is this what the left was so afraid of?” (August 26, 2025).

Later that day, she commented on immigration enforcement and public safety concerns: “Tennesseans support the deportation of criminal illegals, and no one wants MS-13 gang members roaming free in our communities.” (August 26, 2025).

In another post regarding changes at Cracker Barrel, Blackburn criticized the company’s recent aesthetic direction: “Cracker Barrel used to be a beloved American staple before rebranding. Now, it looks more like a hospital than a home. You don’t go to grandma’s house to sit in IKEA chairs and stare at modern art. What an “eg-no-ra-moose” decision!” (August 26, 2025).

Senator Blackburn has been an outspoken advocate for stricter immigration controls and has frequently commented on cultural issues affecting American businesses and institutions.
