Senator Marsha Blackburn, a Republican representing Tennessee, posted a series of statements on her social media account in July 2025 addressing topics ranging from federal nominations to immigration enforcement and agricultural policy.
On July 20, 2025, Blackburn criticized Democratic lawmakers for delaying votes on presidential nominations. She stated, “Democrats are trying to obstruct the America First agenda by holding up votes on President Trump’s nominations. Outstanding nominees – including for U.S. Attorney openings and ambassadorships – are ready to serve, but Dems want to derail the process to spite @realDonaldTrump.”
The following day, July 21, she addressed concerns about assaults on Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) agents. In her post, Blackburn wrote, “Politicians like @MayorOfLA are contributing to the surge in assaults on ICE agents. The real “reign of terror” is the one Joe Biden allowed when he let countless violent criminal illegals flood our country. President Trump is putting a stop to it.”
Later that same day, Blackburn highlighted her engagement with Tennessee’s agricultural community. She said, “It was wonderful to join Tennessee’s incredible young farmers this weekend at their conference. The ag community is the backbone of our state, and I was pleased we could secure so many wins for farmers in the One Big Beautiful Bill.”
Senator Blackburn has been an outspoken supporter of former President Donald Trump and frequently uses her platform to advocate for his policies while criticizing Democratic opposition. Her comments reflect ongoing partisan debates over judicial appointments and immigration enforcement during recent administrations.
