Sen. Marsha Blackburn, U.S. Senator representing Tennessee, shared a series of posts on her official X (formerly Twitter) account on August 9 and 10, 2025. Her messages addressed local law enforcement achievements, federal policy perspectives, and a religious reflection.
On August 9, Blackburn highlighted the recognition received by the Franklin Police Department’s Traffic Unit: “For the second year in a row, the @FranklinTNPD’s Traffic Unit has earned some of the highest honors in Tennessee. These men and women’s efforts to keep Tennesseans on the road safe is greatly appreciated!” She commended their work for public safety.
Later that day, she commented on census policy: “The U.S. Census should reflect U.S. citizens – not illegal aliens who have broken our nation’s laws.”
On August 10, Blackburn posted a biblical quotation: “Knowing this, that the trying of your faith worketh patience.” — James 1:3
Senator Blackburn is known for her positions supporting law enforcement agencies in Tennessee and advocating for stricter immigration policies. The Franklin Police Department has been recognized at state-level competitions for its traffic safety initiatives.
