Aliya Polisky scored seven goals as Stanford, ranked No. 2/3 nationally, defeated Vanderbilt 18-6 on Monday at the Vanderbilt Lacrosse Complex in Nashville.

Vanderbilt’s record moved to 1-2 following the loss. Brooke Baker led Vanderbilt with two goals. Additional goals came from Anna Taraboletti, Gabby Putman, Molly Krestinski, and Nancy Halleron. Hayden Miller and Shea Panzik each contributed an assist.

On defense, Anna Taraboletti forced a career-high three turnovers, while Chloe Bethea-Jones caused two turnovers for the Commodores. Goalkeeper Emme Martin recorded eight saves during the game.
