The Great Midwest Athletic Conference announced its 2023 All-Conference teams on Friday with two members of the Trevecca Nazarene University women's basketball team recognized as selections.
Junior guard Keeley Carter made the first team, while junior forward Emma Palmer made the second team.

Carter is having another record setting season. She is Trevecca's all-time leading scorer in the NCAA Division II era with 1121 points. Other milestones and records have come for the Macon County product this year. Carter scored a career-high 29 points in the Trojan's 71-66 win at Tiffin University, scored a school record 500 points this season, and set the season (130) and career (304) record for made free throws in the NCAA era. The former TSSAA Miss Basketball honoree is averaging career highs in PPG (17.9), FG% (52.6), 3PT% (39.4), and rebounds (163). She bettered her own record for made field goals in a season connecting for 172. Carter was also named a Great Midwest Athlete of the Week on December 12, 2022.
EMMA PALMER
Junior forward Emma Palmer took the next step in her second season setting career highs in PPG (12.1), FG% (62.4), points (326), rebounds (184), assists (29), and blocks (25). Emma Palmer is on a record pace to set the season field goal percentage record in the NCAA Era. Palmer is shooting 62.4% (146-234) on the season. Emma Palmer's season field goal percentage is also notable at the national and conference level. Nationally, Palmer is ranked No. 5 in field goal percentage this year. Palmer is No. 3 in the Great Midwest. She also joined the 500-career points club and currently sits at 615 career points. Palmer was named the Great Midwest Athlete of the Week on January 9, 2023. She recorded a season-high 24 points in the 67-60 win over Walsh on January 7.

The Trojans defeated Walsh in the Great Midwest Quarterfinal and advanced to the G-MAC Semifinals where the No. 3 seeded Trojans face No. 2 seed Kentucky Wesleyan College (23-5, 18-2 Great Midwest) at 6:30 CT at Kates Gym on the Ashland (Ohio) University campus. The Panthers lead the series 17-6, and the Trojans snapped a Panther's 12-game win streak earlier this season in a 63-55 win at Trojan Fieldhouse.
