Census Bureau: 79.2% of people in Davidson County were old enough to vote in 2021

Of the 708,490 citizens living in Davidson County in 2021, 79.2% were old enough to vote, equating to 561,389 individuals, according to U.S. Census Bureau data obtained on Oct. 26.

Further breakdown reveals that of the voting-eligible population, 267,978 were male, constituting 47.7%, and 293,411 were female, making up 52.3%.

The percentage of citizens old enough to vote in Davidson County during 2021 was higher than the state average, which stands at 77.6%.
