United States Senator Bill Hagerty expressed strong support for Congresswoman Elise Stefanik during her confirmation hearing as the nominee for U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations. Hagerty, a member of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee, questioned Stefanik on her vision and objectives for the United States at the UN.

Hagerty inquired about Stefanik's "vision...for the U.S. mission to the United Nations" and where she would like to see it four years into her potential term.

Stefanik responded by highlighting her commitment to President Trump's policies. "My vision is making sure that we’re supporting President Trump’s America First peace through strength agenda, that we are good stewards of U.S. taxpayer dollars, and that we return to the founding mission of the United Nations, which is international peace and security," she said.

Hagerty concluded by expressing his anticipation for future collaboration with Stefanik.
