Tennessee State concluded its season on Apr. 28 with an 11th-place finish at the Ohio Valley Conference Championships, posting a three-round total of 67-over par at the Ackerman-Allen Course at the Birck Boilermaker Golf Complex.

The result marks the end of the team’s participation in this year’s conference event. The Tigers began with a round of 22-over par, improved to a 14-over score in the second round, and closed with a final round of 31-over to reach their overall total.

Little Rock won the team title with a score of 28-under par. UT Martin finished second at 17-over, and Tennessee Tech took third place at 24-over.

Individually for Tennessee State, Jackson Pieratt led his team by tying for 24th place after rounds of three-over, five-over, and two-over par to finish ten over for the tournament. Quincy Robert tied for 38th place at sixteen over par and recorded a two-under second round—the lowest single-round score by any Tiger during this championship. Sampo Ståhl finished in forty-fifth position at twenty over par while Aden Napier placed fiftieth at twenty-four over. Isaac Napier and Bo Twerdahl also competed for Tennessee State during the event.

The tournament concludes another season for Tennessee State’s men’s golf program as they look ahead to future competitions.
