The Ohio Valley Conference (OVC) has announced that the men’s basketball game between Tennessee State and UT Martin will take place on Saturday, February 28 at 1 p.m. CT and will be broadcast on ESPNU. The change in timing for the men’s game means the women’s game will now start at 10 a.m.

This matchup is part of the OVC’s use of a Wild Card selection process for its ESPN basketball schedule. For the fourth consecutive year, this process allows the league to choose which games are broadcasted about two weeks before they are played, aiming to feature the most compelling matchups.

According to the OVC, “The full schedule includes eight total men’s basketball games (five regular season contests and three OVC Tournament games) that will appear on one of the linear networks during the season. The five regular season games will air on ESPNU.”

Additionally, there will be one regular season women’s game shown on ESPNU. All seven games from the OVC Women’s Basketball Tournament and four men’s tournament games—the first round and quarterfinals—will be available via ESPN+ and through the new ESPN App.

Fans can also watch more than 200 conference and non-conference regular season games streamed live on ESPN+. As described by ESPN, “ESPN+ is the No. 1 sports streaming platform, serving fans in the U.S. with exclusive access to more than 32,000 live sports events each year, an unmatched library of on-demand replays and acclaimed original content, and premium written articles by the top reporters and analysts on ESPN.com.”

The ESPN App provides direct access to all ESPN networks and services. It offers features such as integrated game stats, multiview options, synchronized two-screen viewing, vertical video highlights called Verts, personalized SportsCenter updates, betting information through ESPN BET, fantasy sports integration, commerce features, and more. These tools are available to users whether they subscribe directly or via traditional pay TV packages.

A limited-time bundle offer is also available for fans: “Bundling options available for fans include a limited time offer for the ESPN DTC Unlimited plan with Disney+ and Hulu for $29.99/month for the first 12 months.” More details can be found at stream.espn.com.
