On Saturday, April 5, former The Ensworth School standout Pete Daniel’s current college team, the Belmont Bruins, won 1-0 in their NCAA Division I baseball game against the Indiana State Sycamores.
The game took place at E.S. Rose Park. This was their second matchup against the Sycamores this season.
The Bruins’ next game is scheduled for Sunday, April 6 at 1 p.m. at E.S. Rose Park against Indiana State Sycamores.
Mike Mancini has been recognized by being named to both the All-SEC Second Team and All-Defensive Team. His performance this season includes leading his team in home runs, walks, stolen bases, and maintaining an eight-game hitting streak.
Belmont University’s men’s track and field team secured six podium spots at this year’s Missouri Valley Conference Outdoor Championships. Highlights include gold and silver medals across various events as well as new school records.
Vanderbilt will face Kentucky Wildcats Tuesday in the first round of the SEC Baseball Tournament after winning their regular-season series against them. Several Commodore players have received conference honors for their performances.
