Three members of the Belmont Bruins women’s golf team received postseason honors from the Missouri Valley Conference, according to an announcement on April 22 by the conference office.

The awards highlight achievements by Belmont golfers during the season. These recognitions are significant for both the athletes and the program, reflecting their performance in conference play.

Sloane Biddle was named MVC Golfer of the Year after a vote by league head coaches. Biddle also earned All-MVC honors for a second consecutive year following her victory at the MVC Individual Championship. She became the first Belmont golfer to win a conference title and secure a spot in NCAA Regionals. Biddle led her team in scoring average, top-10 finishes, top-20 finishes, and rounds of par or better. She won two individual titles this season and finished as runner-up twice. According to Belmont, “She becomes just the second Belmont golfer to earn conference Golfer of the Year honors.” Biddle is also one of only three Bruins to earn All-Conference recognition in each of her first two years with the program.

Chloe Tarkany joined Biddle on this year’s All-MVC team, marking her first time receiving that honor. Tarkany won two individual titles during the season and recorded five top-10s along with eight top-20 finishes. Her scoring average ranked second on the team at 73.0 strokes per round, including seven rounds at par or better.

Caitlin Davis was recognized as MVC Freshman of the Year after playing nine events with an average score of 78.3 and achieving four top-25 finishes. She is noted as “the first Bruin in program history to earn a Freshman of the Year Award.”
