Graduate Célia-Belle Mohr, senior Bridget Stammel, and junior Valeria Ray were named to the All-Southeastern Conference (SEC) teams, according to an April 22 announcement by the SEC.

The recognition comes during a season in which Vanderbilt women’s tennis earned its highest number of conference weekly awards in program history. This marks the most All-SEC selections for the team since 2022.

Stammel and Ray received first-team All-SEC honors. Stammel led the team with 18 wins during dual matches and posted an 18-4 doubles record alongside Ray. She also achieved ten singles victories at the No. 1 position against conference opponents, including notable wins over Oklahoma’s Evialina Laskevich, Ole Miss’ Emily Welker, and Tennessee’s Katrina Scott. The pair went undefeated at No. 1 doubles in SEC play with a 4-0 record. Stammel reached career-high rankings of No. 6 in singles and No. 10 in doubles this season, became a three-time Ohio Valley Regional singles champion—the first ever—and qualified for the NCAA Singles Championship.

Ray contributed both as Stammel’s doubles partner and as a strong singles competitor with a 12-4 record at No. 2 singles and ten SEC match wins overall this season. She reached career highs of No. 15 in ITA singles rankings and broke into the top ten for doubles as well. Among her achievements was defeating Michigan’s Piper Charney, who was ranked third nationally at that time.

Mohr earned second-team All-SEC honors after posting a dual match singles record of 13-4 and going 22-10 in doubles matches primarily with Sophia Webster. Mohr recorded four SEC doubles victories highlighted by defeating Georgia’s highly ranked duo Dilek and Aysegul Mert. She attained career-best ITA rankings of No.2 both in singles and with Webster as a doubles pair; together they became Vanderbilt’s first NCAA Doubles Championship finalists last fall.

These individual accolades reflect Vanderbilt’s continued success within conference competition during the current season.
