Todd Warner, a Tennessee state legislator and eighth-generation Tennessean, has made several public statements on social media regarding his personal life and political ambitions. In a series of tweets posted between May 10 and May 12, 2026, Warner addressed both personal milestones and ongoing political controversies.

On May 10, Warner acknowledged Mother’s Day by expressing gratitude to the women in his family. He wrote: “Happy Mother’s Day! To my wife, thank you for being an incredible mother to our children and the rock of our family. To my mama, raising all us boys wasn’t easy, but you did it with grace and love. Thank you. To the mothers of my grandbabies, y’all make me the proudest”.

The following day, on May 11, Warner announced his candidacy for Congress. He stated: “I’m running for Congress. After years of fighting the establishment in Nashville, taking on the lobbyists, the RINOs, and the good ol’ boy system, I’m taking that same fight straight to Washington. I’m a farmer, small business owner, and eighth-generation Tennessean who’s never”.

On May 12, Warner commented on national politics by supporting Rep. Andy Ogles’ remarks about alleged partisan actions within federal law enforcement agencies. Warner wrote: “Rep. Andy Ogles is speaking facts Democrats weaponize the FBI against anyone who refuses to bend the knee. I know exactly what that feels like. Biden’s DOJ raided my home and business because I stood up to RINO Rick and his brother Thom Tillis. The establishment hates”.

Warner’s comments reference broader concerns among some Republican officials regarding investigations conducted by federal agencies under President Joe Biden’s administration.
