Vanderbilt Track and Field will travel to Auburn, Alabama for the Southeastern Conference Outdoor Championships from Thursday through Saturday at the Hutsell-Rosen Track, according to a May 13 announcement.

The event is important as it marks the culmination of the regular season and offers athletes an opportunity to compete at a high level within the conference. Performances at this meet often impact program records and individual rankings.

During their final home meet of the regular season, Jayden Hill set a new program record in the 800 meters with a time of 2:02.62, while Falon Spearman recorded her best time of 13.01 seconds in the 100-meter hurdles. Last year at SEC Outdoors, Vanderbilt athletes made seven changes to school record books, highlighted by strong performances from relay teams featuring Josie Donelson, Joy Moorer, Allyria McBride, and Madyson Wilson. Heptathletes Marta Sivina and Devyn Parham contributed points by finishing fourth and seventh respectively.

Current rankings show that Sivina is second in the SEC heptathlon standings with a score of 5665 points. Lena Gooden holds fourth place in long jump with a mark of 6.38 meters. In addition, Spearman, Wilson, Gooden, and Sivina are ranked among the top ten in their events within the East Region.

The Southeastern Conference Championships will be available for streaming on SEC Network+ beginning at 11:30 a.m. and again at 5:25 p.m., with results posted on pttiming.com.
