Vanderbilt University’s women’s lacrosse team received three weekly honors from the American Conference, according to an announcement made Monday. Goalie Emme Martin was named Goalie of the Week for her performance in Vanderbilt’s 14-11 victory over Mercer during the home opener on Thursday. Martin achieved a personal best with 10 saves, including five in the fourth quarter, which contributed to stopping Mercer’s late rally.

Freshman Gabby Putman from Cicero, New York, earned Freshman of the Week recognition after scoring her first career goal and recording nine draw controls—a single-game mark not reached by a Commodore since Bailey Lower matched it as a freshman in 2025.

Nancy Halleron also received honorable mention for her contributions.
