United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) announced a series of staff changes, with promotions and appointments involving 22 individuals across his team over the past year. Additionally, he shared the news that 14 of his staff have been appointed to serve in the Trump Administration.

“I’m pleased to welcome several additions to my staff and announce well-deserved promotions for others,” stated Senator Hagerty. “I’m confident that my exceptional team will soar to even greater heights with new expertise and experience. At the same time, I’m deeply proud of my close advisors and alumni who have been appointed to serve in the Trump Administration. I look forward to all we will accomplish in the coming years together.”

Lucas Da Pieve is now the Legislative Director, having previously served as Deputy Legislative Director and Projects Manager since 2021. Nate Kinard will assume the role of General Counsel, providing legal guidance on various issues. Sloan McDonagh serves as Policy Advisor and Senior Counsel, with experience from his role on the House Committee on Oversight and Government Reform.

In Senator Hagerty’s Washington, DC office, Christy Charbonnet has been appointed Scheduler, Emma Morris as Deputy Director of Operations and Scheduling, and John DiGravio as Legislative Assistant focusing on the Banking Committee. Luke Harris, JT Isaacs, Matthew Venoit, and Jillian Cantrell hold various Legislative Assistant and Policy Advisor roles, contributing to different committee portfolios.

Field representatives include Zach Brooks in Southeast Tennessee, Gabby Gardner in Nashville, Ford Hawkins in Jackson, and Jonathan White in West Tennessee. Melissa Stooksbury leads as Deputy State Director out of Nashville.

At the federal level, a number of Hagerty’s staff have transitioned to the Trump Administration. Adam Telle has been nominated to lead the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, while Luke Pettit and Daniel Zimmerman have been nominated to roles within the Treasury and Defense Departments, respectively. Julia Hahn and Clark Milner hold positions in the Treasury Department and White House, with others, such as Kevin Kim and Walton Stivender Mears, occupying roles in international and urban development.

Hagerty’s staffing adjustments reflect a significant reorganization within his team, with several members moving into impactful roles within the U.S. government. These changes indicate an ongoing collaboration between the Senator’s office and the administration as they tackle national policies and advisory positions.
