Cost of college was unchanged for all students at the Nashville Film Institute

Tuition and fees were unchanged for 2018-19 at the Nashville Film Institute, according to recent data from the U.S. Department of Education.

Tennessee students paid $16,900 to attend the private for-profit school in both the 2017-18 and 2018-19 academic years.

Data shows 89 percent of full-time undergraduates who started school in 2015-16 received student financial aid in some form. In all, 24 students received grants or scholarships totaling $78,399 and 15 students took out student loans totaling more than $144,907.

Including all undergraduates (53), 38 students used grants or scholarships totaling $145,792, and 46 students took out $473,752 in federal student loans.
