United States Senator Bill Hagerty (R-TN) joined Rob Schmitt Tonight on Newsmax to discuss several issues, including the Biden Administration's handling of the southern border crisis, the Senate conservatives' plan to block pro-lawfare Biden nominees, and the political prosecution of President Donald Trump.

Hagerty expressed concerns about Hispanic communities being affected by what he described as a flood of people brought in by Joe Biden. "If you think about their communities, Hispanic communities have been just inundated with this flood of people that Joe Biden has brought in," Hagerty stated. He mentioned that schools, hospitals, and law enforcement are overwhelmed due to the situation at the border.

Discussing President Trump's standing on immigration issues, Hagerty noted an increase in support for Trump across various demographic groups. "His numbers are rising with Hispanic voters, with black voters, and every demographic group," said Hagerty. He criticized Biden's policies as rewarding illegal immigration and suggested they might backfire politically.

Addressing national security concerns, Hagerty referred to eight ISIS-K members arrested in the United States under the current administration. "We have a resurgence of these terror groups under Joe Biden’s watch," he said. He emphasized that national security threats are heightened due to inadequate border control.

On blocking pro-lawfare Biden nominees in the Senate, Hagerty argued that such judicial nominees were unreasonable and supportive of what he termed as lawfare against President Trump. He cited strong public financial support for Trump following his conviction in New York as evidence of widespread disapproval of these actions.

Regarding Trump's political prosecution, Hagerty remarked that it goes against basic American values of fairness and justice. "It’s lawfare," he stated. He believes this issue will play a significant role in propelling Trump back into office.
