Oak Hill's population decreased by 47 people between 2017 and 2018, according to the U.S. Census Bureau's American Community Survey. Since 2010 the population has increased by 136 people.

The Tennessee municipality that saw the largest population growth over the same time period was Murfreesboro, with a total population increase of 4,780 people.
