14 aggravated assaults reported on Vanderbilt University campus in 2017

There were 14 on-campus aggravated assaults in 2017 on the campus of Vanderbilt University, located in Nashville, according to the most recent crime statistics available on the National Center for Education Statistics (NCES) website.

In 2016, there were 5 aggravated assaults on the campus; and in 2015, there were 21 aggravated assaults. Overall, in the three year period from 2015 through 2017, 35 percent of on-campus aggravated assaults happened in residence halls. The following table shows how many of these on-campus criminal offenses were committed in residence halls:
