The Trevecca Nazarene University women's track and field team continued its indoor season on Friday in New York City participating in the Spartan Invitational. Hosted at the Ocean Breeze Athletic Complex in Staten Island, several Trojans competed well, with Hanah and Molly Sims etching top four performances all-time.

The lone Trevecca representative in the long jump, Hanah Sims produced a 4.55m jump good for fourth-furthest all-time. Sims' effort was 18th best in the field. Her younger sister, Molly Sims also fared well as the younger Sims collected a 9.97m weight throw toss. Only three Trojans have tossed the weight throw 10 meters or further and Sims just missed that mark tonight.

Samantha Roberts ran to a personal record in the 1 mile with a 5:25.62 to finish a team-best 14th overall. Roberts ran to a 14-second personal record this evening. Chane DeBeer shaved four seconds off her 400m dash time while Emmy Mattingly finished the 3,000m with a respectable time as well.
