The Tennessee State women's tennis team traveled across town to take on Lipscomb on Wednesday afternoon and fell 6-1. The loss moves TSU to 1-14 on the season.
 
The Bison jumped out to an early 1-0 lead after taking the doubles point to start the match. LU won 6-0 at line three, followed by a 6-4 victory at line one to claim the point, taking down Franka Sindicic / Naomi Von Bose.
 
Von Bose was the lone Tiger to claim a point in the No. 2 singles position, as she played a tough three-set match, winning 1-6, 6-3, 6-2.
 
Jovana Nikolic played a tight match at line four, dropping her match 4-6, 3-6. Aroa Arrieta Castillo fell 5-7, 6-1 in the No. 5 spot, while Daniela Koleva dropped her match at line three 2-6, 2-6.
