Lipscomb Men's Basketball's Jacob Ognacevic has been named to the District 3 NABC Second Team it was announced Tuesday. The NABC All-District honors are voted on by NABC-member coaches across NCAA Division I.
Ognacevic earns the honor after being one of the most consistent offensive threats in the ASUN all season. The forward averaged 17.7 points per game to lead the Bisons, a mark that ranked second in the ASUN. The sophomore was one of the best in the country this season in field goal percentage, connecting at a 60.7-percent clip, a top-20 mark in the nation, which also led the ASUN. He also ranked top-five in the conference in field goals (221), free throw attempts (135), free throw percentage (85.2), free throws (115) and points (583).
Ognacevic earned ASUN First Team All-Conference honors and was named to the 2023 ASUN All-Tournament Team.
