The Gulf Coast Athletic Conference (GCAC) is currently accepting applications for a pair of internship positions for the 2022-23 athletic season with an administrative assistant and digital media/marketing assistant available.
Each position is a 12-month internship and reports directly to the commissioner of the GCAC. The rate for both positions is $6,000 for the year.
"With social media, we don't have to wait for the media to come to us anymore," said GCAC Commissioner Dr. Kiki Baker Barnes at the conference meetings. "We have to look for ways to promote ourselves. This paid intership will give students a good resume builder and help us rising. #GCACRising is not just a saying, we are living it."
Interested candidates are encouraged to send their resumes to commissioner@gcaconf.com. The deadline to submit resumes is July 31, 2022.
