Homicide Unit detectives are pursuing active leads in tonight’s fatal shooting of Demon L. Floyd Jr., 18, of N. 9th Street.
Hermitage Precinct officers responded to a parking lot of Hickory Creek Apartments on Vultee Boulevard at 6:45 p.m. after a witness reported hearing shots and seeing a person down on the pavement.
Detectives believe Floyd had come to the parking lot to meet someone.
Anyone with information on the person responsible for killing Demon Floyd Jr. is asked to contact Nashville Crime Stoppers at 615-742-7463. Callers to Crime Stoppers can remain anonymous and qualify for a cash reward of up to $5,000 in homicide cases.
